I am here
"I am here" — a project spotlighting Ukrainian teenagers during times of war. Their perspective on the surrounding events and life after relocating due to conflict.
In August 2022, we gathered a group of Ukrainian teenagers and, within a month, collaborated with them to create a website. Together, we devised the project's concept, name, and delved into the fundamentals of design and programming. And then, we launched imhr.top.
The project's idea revolves around Ukrainian teenagers who found themselves in Georgia due to the war. They conduct interviews with other Ukrainian teenagers who have relocated from their homeland, sharing these stories on our website. The outcome is a documentary project, featuring sincere narratives that depict the experiences of war through the eyes of teenagers.
In addition to the website, we occasionally organize workshops related to the war, providing an outlet for teenagers to express themselves. Besides conducting a web-development workshop, we held a series of comic book workshops. As a result, we compiled and published a book of comics, where Ukrainian teenagers illustrated their own stories.
